I have spent my life navigating eczema – not just through clinical advice, but through lived experience and ancestral wisdom. Raised in a maternal Asian household, I learned to manage my skin using traditional heirloom knowledge rooted in herbology and food-as-medicine practices. These foundations were strengthened by my years as an athlete and professional model, where discipline, body awareness, and resilience became second nature.

To deepen my understanding, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science (Nutrition and Exercise) from the University of South Australia, where I explored the biochemistry behind the traditions I grew up with. But my most transformative chapter came between the ages of 24 and 28, when I faced the physical and emotional toll of burning red skin syndrome and oral/topical steroid withdrawal. It was a period of loss – but also profound learning.

Today, I hold the title of Associate Nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of Australia and am a recipient of the Australian Government’s Commonwealth-Funded Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship, which supports my research into non-pharmaceutical approaches to eczema management through my lived experiences. My mission is to help others reclaim their skin and health through integrative, evidence-based strategies that honour both science and tradition.
